Rose-colored Night Shot

An actual dock,
and boat,
after dark,
taken from the restaurant window.

I did not use any special filters,
or apply any after-effects.

7 March 2016.

  1. Interesting shot. I love it when a photo comes out so well. I can't be bothered to buy and use filters (after learning how!) because most of the time, my shots are spur of the moment.

    1. Thank you, Betty! I'd say at least 90% of my shots are spur of the moment, too. Every once in a while I see something and go back later to shoot it, but not often. This one surprised me. As I recall, this scene did not actually look this way to the naked eye.

  3. One of the best things about digital photography is the super colors you can get at night. This is excellent....and that red is more orange than red but whatever, it works! Nice job!

    1. Thanks, Lowell! My favorite thing about digital photography is you can take as many "practice" shots as you want; no wasted film. :)
