This fun guy
caught my attention by sheer size.
Each of those little yellow flowers
is about the size of a quarter;
the head of this mushroom
was at least 8" in diameter.
The yellow flowers are viridis
aka euryops pectinatus,
known colloquially as 'daisy bush.'
Taken 14 March 2016.
That is a large mushroom. Wonder what kind it is? Nice contrast with the yellow flowers.
ReplyDeleteThank you, TFG. I like to eat mushrooms, but not confident about picking them in the wild for myself.
