I lived in Scottsdale and worked in Mesa in the early 60s. Zounds that's a long time ago. I don't remember this mural but I'm sure it didn't exist back then. It's quite impressive. Thanks for your warm welcome back and my best to you and yours!
We have been in Scottsdale for SF Giants Spring Training. These days Scottsdale and Mesa (and other formerly outlying towns) are seamlessly attached to each other and to Phoenix.
Wow, what an unusual mural. It is either a heat wave or a view after too much wine.
