Rain, Rails, and Stairs

This shot

is not likely

to win any

contests or awards,

but

I find a lot

to ponder and examine

and appreciate

in this frame.

For one thing,

I remember

I was standing under an overpass

during a tremendous

rainstorm,

complete with

raucous thunder

and near-hit lightning.

I can still hear it when I look at this photo.
