All for study

in a square foot of live tree sheathing

bark.

Oak Tree Sky

I never tire of the inestimable beauty of trees cast against the sky.

These are oak branches against an utterly clear blue sky - fantastic natural shapes, textures, color, shadows - an entire universe of contemplation.
