Bright Light, Deep Shadows


Striking brickwork on this edifice in Georgetown (DC).

If you look closely
(by clicking on the image)
you can see the triangular shadows along the top
are formed by bricks laid at an angle.

    The ridges remind me of the tatted edge on a tablecloth. :)

    I always like a show with shadows, though I find the red brick a little distracting.
