I cannot repress my celebration!!!
Today's post is a tribute to the San Francisco Giants, winners of the 2010 World Series!!!
These pictures were taken on 3 October 2010, at the last game of the regular season, when the Giants won the National League West Division pennant and clinched their berth in the Playoffs, which eventually led to their stunning victory in the World Series last night. This is the first ever World Championship for the San Francisco Giants, although when the Giants were still in New York they won the World Series in 1954.

ReplyDeleteI was in SF for the last game of the regular season when we beat the Padres to take the Division title and become eligible for postseason play. I wasn't in Texas for THE GAME that made the Giants World Champions.
ReplyDeleteBut yes, I was watching that game and it was indescribable. How 'bout that victory parade and rally in the City!?!? Wow. I wasn't there, either; just saw it on TV.
