Julia's Mural

This colorful bird adds a touch

of tropical atmosphere to the parking

at Julia's Mexican Restaurant.

While the bird takes in the lovely scenery

of lake and snow-capped mountain,

he also wonders at the mysterious

interruption of crude tagging

on the tree trunk and in the distant sky...

Fountain with Birds

Fountain at front entrance to hotel

in Palm Desert, CA.

Note mountains with snow in the background.

This blackbird seems a little mystified

by the huge motionless

white birds.

Taken 14 February 2017.
