Route 66 Mural

This dandy was taken outside the Route 66 Casino just west of Albuquerque, New Mexico, back in September 2006.
The lovely (real) couple are our long-time friends who have put up with us on countless travels.

Camera: the Olympus that was succeeded by the Canon.

    Neato! Great with the couple (your patient friends) in the foreground.They're in perfect proportion to the trompe l'oeil mural. The art reminds me John Cerney - and his ginat farm worker cutouts along hwy 68 in Salinas.

    You're right! It looks a lot like those. In fact, I think the same car is depicted at the corner of Del Monte and... whatever that street is near Jose's and Ichi Riki :)
