This chair

may have given up hope

of rescue;

or perhaps it is

playing 'possum;

or it is

slowly -

very, very slowly -

crawling away;

or

maybe it is sunbathing;

or it is just asleep;

or it might have

injured itself

breakdancing;

it has fallen

and

it can't get up.
