Wall Panel

Wall panel by the elevator
in the lobby of
a DC hotel...
art and beauty in the most
unexpected places!

People looked askance
at me while I was
getting this shot.
I'm sure they thought
I had lost my mind.
They really don't see the art!
Sad, and a little scary.

Taken 17 November 2010.

  1. It's beautiful! Reminds me of when the winds sweep the sand dunes into patterns.

  6. Thank you all for your comments. I really do see art all around me every day. Most times it is a blessing and a delight; occasionally it is a bit frustrating because I cannot take the time to savor it or record it. One simply cannot catch >>everything<<!

Along these lines, actually, I ran across a fascinating artblog yesterday at http://aletteraweek2011.blogspot.com/ Beautiful and creative!!

  7. Hi Ed, Thanks for following my blog. Love the wall panel - these are MY lines - swirling, flowing, undulating, sensual, and I am a member of a Letter a Week, Cheers!!
