Street Art #9: Colorado Springs

This is the last of my pictures of Street Art from the Depot Arts District in Colorado Springs,
so I have included the "whole building" picture below
as punctuation.
I'm kind of amazed at the way the tin roof is painted.

Now I'll be posting "Street Art" from other locations...!

All of the Colorado Springs Street Art pictures were taken on 18 July 2010.

  1. I love street art. Jilda and I were in Telluride the first week of July and we both fell in love with Colorado.
I had a class in Colorado Springs two years ago an had a chance to do a little sight seeing. I enjoyed my stay.

  2. I like good street art, too. It's a funny thing, though---too much of it is tacky; and poor quality is, too. Great shots! Have a great weekend!

  3. I'm guessing that this art wasn't commissioned? That makes it all the more interesting. I wonder if there were multiple artists at work? There are so many blank walls in every community that just beg for some adornment--within reason, of course!

  4. The beautiful walls and roof offers much opportunity to just be there. Great stuff.

  5. There certainly are some artists there. This is very interesting. I don't know why but I keep thinking about how much paint is used up doing that.
